शनिवार को मध्य केरल में लगातार भारी बारिश के कारण भूस्खलन, अचानक बाढ़ और बड़े पैमाने पर अव्यवस्था फैल गई। इस घटना में कम से कम दो लोगों की मौत हो गई, कई अन्य लोगों के मलबे के नीचे दबे होने की आशंका है, और कई जिलों में बड़े पैमाने पर बचाव अभियान शुरू किए गए हैं। सबसे बुरी तरह प्रभावित जिला इडुक्की था, जहां अलग-अलग घटनाओं में भूस्खलन से कई लोगों की मौत हो गई।
Continuous heavy rainfall in central Kerala on Saturday triggered landslides and flash floods, causing widespread chaos. At least two people died in the incidents, and many others are feared trapped under debris; large-scale rescue operations have been launched across several districts. Idukki was the worst-hit district, where multiple people lost their lives in separate landslide incidents.
